So...my phone just over a year old seems to have given up the ghost already and claiming the charger port is damp and unusable it has been saying this for around 12 hours or so now any tips to try and rectify the problem?

I have tried drying it out with a hairdryer and also tissue paper.

Have you dried your charger or tried a different one. Mine does this. Fussy things.

Samsung?

It probably is damp, they're really sensitive. Get a hairdryer or summat on it. It'll behave when it's dry.

Down in Dickleburgh Drive

Samsung? Same thing happened to my phone. I had to get a wireless charger in the end.

He's totally dropped it in a vagina! My Samsung fell out of my pocket into my gf's loo earlier this year so that was practically the same thing (pre-pee!) Pinched her hairdryer and got it all nice an toasty and dry and it was fine.

Arent you meant to use the hoover end in the holes to suck, rather than a hairdryer blowing water further into your cracks and crevices. A suck or a blow, what is best!

Leave it in the airing cupboard over night wrapped in a towel

I’m using a spare phone at the moment because I got food in the charging bit and now it won’t charge

Rinse, towel, hairdryer. The heat turns the water to vapour and wooshes it away. They're pretty waterproof anyway, it's just water in the charge point....

A wireless charger should work or change the USB port?

A wireless charger is a really good idea!

Mine did this once but then started working again after a week. Make sure to keep it somewhere dry and try it in rice overnight. Also, a hard reset?
