Do you have it? Or are you don't? Can you improve it by trying? Does it matter?
Give yourself a score (1-10) and tell us what you think - let's see if Fabs is overall above average, or just feral |

I’ll let others decide. I believe I have emotional intelligence. I am intelligent in my job and the things I need to know to do my job. But generally I can be a little dim |

Do thick people know they’re thick?
How can a person rate their own intelligence?
I’m clever enough to know how to use it and that’s enough for my peace of mind. |

No, generally they can't (see: Dunning–Kruger effect). But it's interesting to know what people think their intelligence is.
And it makes for at least something different to discuss |

It’s not only about intelligence it’s about being smart. I’ve been around really intelligent people, who aren’t aware what they’re saying is starting to wind people up, by bragging over their accomplishments.
When a relationship breaks down they’re fine with complex mathematical equations, but not being able to deal with every day problems, like how to make a decent meal, pay a bill or just look after themselves.
My Mother claimed she was stupid most of her life, then my Father had a stroke so she passed her driving test, looked after a severely ill man so ensured he got the correct medication, brought up three kids practically alone and worked at the same time. Then divorced him as he’d been having affairs all the way through their marriage..that’s smart |

"Wearing the right pair of glasses adds a minimum of 25% to your perceived intelligence
I have 2 pairs of glasses. Do I add 50% to my minimum?"
If you wear both at the same time, it would take 50% off. |

"I know that I know nothing (and enough to leave the next bit out )"
I think thinking patterns can be nurtured and improved (or deficits spotted and worked on), so can knowledge. I suspect some intelligence is innate or gained early in life. |

Well I'm no fucking Einstein, but I've learnt lessons some with never have the pleasure or pain of learning.
We know what we experience providing we don't walk around eyes wide shut.
There's also being confident in your own intelligence, which too many people aren't, myself included.
And... we can't forget emotional intelligence.
Is a huge spectrum and I've forgotten the question so I'll leave it there.

Laziness too, like I couldn't be arsed to proof read, and now part of what I wrote up there makes no sense |

There's different kinds of intelligence.
A person can be well educated but lack common sense, emotional intelligence or problem solving skills.
I would say that I am fairly intelligent but wouldn't to score myself. |

Oh golly it depends on what how you consider intelligence is calculated.
On academic results
Percieved knowledge
Rote learned knowledge
Personal experiance
Its a tough thing just to decide
I believe we never stop learning , being curious about every thing is a sign of intelligence
So im giving myself a 1, as life has so much more to teach me |

I was an academic high achiever which I guess means I have 1 specific type of intelligence our education system likes to measure. I did exploit the choices of options in both my GCSEs and A Levels though and picked subjects that played to my strengths which was mostly Maths and Science. However I'm generally terrible at humaning, my social skills leave a lot to be desired and when I did that Great British intelligence quiz, apparently I'm terrible at reading others emotions . So it really depends how you're measuring. There's always someome else intimidatingly smarter. |

Id say im between a 6 and 7.
I have enough intelligence to recognise my limitations and while some might say I should be higher than that from outside my area of expertise, inside of it I know some utterly mind-boggling people, one or 2 who a supercomputer cannot compete with.
My intelligence is far more practical than is is theoretical. |

Intelligence attracts my attention so much more than a cock pic. I spent a total of 7 years at uni and so need my mind stimulated just as much as other areas x |

I like to regard myself as intelligent, given the situations I've had to cope or deal within various jobs over the years.
But, I am aware that I can be wound up by people playing practical jokes, and I take ages to realise. |

I guess that depends on what the one assessing deems as intelligence. I am who I am. Im crap at maths and so much more but ask me to take down a tree which is growing over your house and glass conservatory and I ll do it. Its all maths and physics but without the equations and numbers. Now a mathematician could do all his numbers on that same tree, stress points, weight loading, angles but without knowing the tree itself and the conditions and the tools and kit etc the chances are you d be rebuilding parts of said house and conservatory |
