How protective are you over your real name?
I feel really odd when people I know well call me Saff.. even though I’ve been Saff for many years.
At socials I always use my real name, which is Lucy.
Feels more me..
So who else is happy to share?

I’m not overly protective of mine, but my partner is and so I don’t share mine until I start to speak to people.
But given I get called K in real life by some of my friends it’s not too much of a departure from my actual identity. |

Lu is always called Lu.
J is Jeff.
We aren't precious about it.
Can't see the point in using pseudonyms. If you end up meeting, generally they come out anyway. |

My username is taff (original for a welsh man I know  )...but will always share my first name as an introduction.
Not sure if anyone shares their surname....I guess there’s dangers of people stalking you on all the social media platforms then Lol |

When introducing a newby lady friend to the club scene I had to pull her up over introducing herself by her real name as she's quite distinctive and has a large online presence professionally.
However after the initial slip up she was very happy to be introduced by her 'nickname' at subsequent social and play meets. |

Thanks DC you suit the title like someone from James Bond I’m happy using people’s names or nicknames. But so many times I’ve just thought about changing my username to my actual name. |

Luke and Hannah are our pseudonyms. We don't tell Fabbers our real names until we have met. That's particularly important for Hannah as her real name is very unusual and is quite an easy identifier on the Book of Face. |

I will give my name out after a social, of we decide to meet again. I was introduced at a club social by real name, as it was on my ID to register. I didn’t mind too much, as there were only a few people there and they’ve likely forgotten by now  |

I'm not massively protective over mine and I definitely want people in real life to call me by my real name...but I do still wish my real name was Lana.

Honestly I’m really not. Had to put my career on hold (which restricted face pics and name).
Just wish I could change my user name back to Hatter from what it is now, but not paying for premium just for that and see not much point in having it right now. Ho hum. |

Hi Lucy, i’m Adrian. But only get called that by parents. Much prefer Ady. Its nice to able to say it , rather than Drambuie.
Its not like i have to hide my fablife from family..last year at grandads funeral my sister tried to score points. Sat there humming “ jungle book” She announced to everyone “ Ady’s a swinger, he goes to swingers clubs “... OUTED !!!.. so i admitted it. Parents laughed and said “ fair play son”. A few aunties looked like id just pissed on their sandwiches, but tough shit.

We give our real names on socials unless it’s blatantly obvious the other couple aren’t then we make up a funny name and keep a straight face. When we meet Asian couples we are sometimes Bambi and Phileen. |
