I used to think I was, but over the last year I’ve realised others people’s issues are not my fault. So yes I have my faults.. but I’m no longer undateable. It’ll just take a special sort to deal with me

Aww...I don't think anyone is undateable.
You just have to meet few people to find someone worth dating.
In fact there's some in this thread I would say are definitely dateable.

I think I am dateable, but only once per person. I say date, it's more of a "time where we hang out for a bit"
Being taken for a mug one too many times has raised my barriers so I'm good for a laugh still, but I'll cut people out of my life with a snippity snip snip if things don't add up.

Basically, I don't think theres anyone out there that would treat me how I'd need to be treated to maintain long term dating.... coz I'm a precious fucking gift who deserves more than a human could offer.

My longest relationship was 10yrs. Since then, I've met 3 women who I'd have been prepared to marry, but circumstances or their own demons prevented progression....

Do remember that there are so many people out there and we only meet or message a small sample of them on sites like this.

I think most women are always dateable? As the old saying goes there's someone out there for everyone. It's just a matter of finding them? Alas for us older guys we do have a sell by date and fall off the end of the desirable scale. However I live in hopes that someone will look past the exterior and give me a chance one day? |
