At the beginning of lockdown we were all clapping our hands on a Thursday evening, and *those* neighbours (you know the type, Sandra who does just THE BEST potato salad and you MUST try some!) would set off fire works and their kids would bang pots and pans together?
Fuck we even had people playing the bagpipes, singing, playing guitar etc in our wee village.

"Thank fuck that's all over and done with.
I know right
Although I did enjoy the bagpipes "
I also enjoyed the bagpipes, and by that I mean that time when you cradled my ballbag and hummed on my penis. |

"I was clock watching till 8pm, is it too early, is anyone out yet?
Thursdays were stressful back then! "
It bloody was. Babas bedtime is at sevenish, so we’d either be putting him to sleep, or he’d be asleep. So we only went out twice and clapped. Felt like the whole street was judging us |

I never went out either. Most of my street didn't.
We didn't need to - the howling, pan bashing, cheering, screeching from the next street would have drowned us out!
I liked it at the start as it seemed sincere. 5 months ago! Where did this year go? |

Yes.
We might now be in danger of having to give them a proper pay rise.... |
