I reckon I could do it too.

I read about that this week. I couldn't eat it and wouldn't want to - it's a disgusting amount of food considering people in this country who can't afford to eat. That cafe should be ashamed of itself.

Why? It's just a bit of harmless fun. If you watch the clip you'll see that nobody ever completes the meal because there's just too much of it. In the big scheme of things a small cafe in Great Yarmouth having a bit of a promo is not going to cure the world's hunger problems.

The cafe should donate all the food it uses for that one breakfast to a starving family. And it's not fun given starving people and an obesity epidemic in this country. It's plain stupid and reckless. And the fact the cafe has 2 people a day failing to eat it just proves that it's a waste of time, money and food.

And as gentle whimsy tiptoes out of the room...

Excellent marketing technique... I love a full english but I wouldnt even attempt this... On the other hand, if ever Im in Great Yarmouth Id have a fryup and watch some other mug have a go...

There's no way I could eat 4 halves of toast, 4 halves of bread & butter, and 4 halves of fried bread in one sitting! Then there's 12 rashers of bacon to wade through, twelve sausages, a 6-egg omelette, 4 slices of black pudding, 4 hash browns, beans, mushrooms, a side of saute potatoes, and tomatoes.

I'd give it a bloody good go though.

Wet Beaver Creek

I was called a "canny trougher" on one of my visits to a Newcastle transport cafe, many moons ago now, but I couldn't even attempt to tackle this one.

I was in Swansea a couple of weeks ago in Uplands area and there is a very popular diner that serves awesome breakfasts.

The standard Jumbo breakfast is more than enough for most people and they do a Mega Breccy which is 4 jumbo's on a tray

While we were there we saw a few "big" guys order and devour the Mega just as if it was a snack.

It's so big you can only get 2 servings on a table, and you wont believe the price ....... £9.95 all in

Miles too much for me. There were four of us in our party and we wouldn't have finished the mega between us.

Because its a charity now then is it? Not a business wanting to make money?

Why don't you go to the cafe, order the breakfast then go dish it out to the homeless and starving of yarmouth?

Two people a day hand the £15 cost to the cafe, then dump most of it into the bin... the starving can go fish it out if they want

It would feed a family of six, agreed. But if a family of six were that hungry they should eat something more nutritional ... like gruel.

Small businesses are finding it extremely difficult at the moment, if this small initiative helps to get them some free advertising and gets the word out about their business then good luck to them......
