Kisses and cuddles or full penetrative sex.
I see them both as acts of intimacy.

Thing is you don’t need to be intimate to have sex, there are several positions where you aren’t even facing each other, but kissing is soooo intimate, you are holding each other close, breathing each other’s breath, feeling the passion rise before you even touch lips, when they do touch then it’s soft and moist with tongues touching, you pull each other closer .... yeah now that’s intimacy   |

I don’t think I’d actually die without them, but I wouldn’t flourish. If it had to be a choice of kissing but no sex, or sex with no kissing I would go for the former...grudgingly. |

Penetrative sex I could live without - there are plenty of intimate sexual acts you can do instead, in fact I'd go as far as to say penetrative sex isn't always the "aim" of sex for me and have had fantastic experiences where it hasn't featured at all...
....kisses and cuddles there isn't an alternative to though |
