"Yeah, could be interested in this OP. Socially distanced of course!
Of course! It would be a social walk definitely not an outdoor sex meet! "
I know you weren't suggesting that! . Need to remember there are still Covid-19 rules around group sizes etc. |

"Maybe you could organise something further south if this one works? "
You've got the South Downs which I've been to once which makes good walking. And Brighton/Hove is straight down the trainline for me without any changes. |

Both Peak District and South Downs are about the same distance from me. One is just more direct. But I haven't done any proper walking for a long time. |

"I’m game for the 1st weekend in October. Happy to do Peak District or South Downs. "
From this thread and people that have contacted me separately.
First weekend of October in the Peak District is the best time and place.
If anyone else wants to join let me know.
I suspect we will do a walk of approx ten miles (weather depending). I can let people where and when to meet privately. |

"I've never been and would love to if I weren't so far "
Sorry, wherever I chose would be a long way for someone. I picked the Peak District as it’s probably the most central |

"I do like walking these days but My geographys rather bad which end is the peak district?
The Peak District is between Manchester and Sheffield "
Not Derby then, by the way that's a long walk but I might be down for that depending on dates |

"I’ve started a new thread in the Uk forum.
"
It would have made more sense to do it in the French forums !
ppl from all the cap d'adge threads would have been lost. |

We love mountain walking and this sounds great, sadly too far away for us but really do hope this happens for those going and would really like to know how it went post weekend.
Enjoy
