Just joined my first ever dating site.

I have several friends on different dating sites, and liked how Bumble works.

However is it just me or is it very off-putting and inappropriate for people on there to include full face photos, unblurred of their children on their profile?

Maybe I'm out of touch. What are your thoughts?

Its dodgy to do that in my opinion it could attract the wrong sort of person.

I can't say I saw that when I was on dating apps. It does seem a little odd though

My thoughts exactly.

It's not some profiles though, it's about half of them

It really gets to me. I questioned a friend on it the other day. She believed that it showed that she cane as a package and that her kids were important to her. I argued that it may attract the wrong type of attention from the wrong type of people. Plus I think the mention of kids is enough. Their kids pictures are irrelevant to searching for a partner. In my opinion

If I had children I wouldn't have their photos on a dating site. Bit weird.

Totally agree with all that.

I'm neither way as to whether a potential partner has children, however I don't want to see them

Glad it's not just me.

I wondered if I was completely out of touch.

On Tinder there was a thing where guys had photos taken alongside tigers etc.

It turned into a Meme.

I've seen a few with pictures of children but most have blurred faces. People seem to put them on to let the others know straight away they have kids to avoid awkward conversations later on

It’s just an indicator that they make poor choices and are best avoided.

I avoid any profiles that have pics with their kids in.

You don't care about your kids privacy you sure won't care about mine

Didn't think of it that way.

I may email the site today and ask for their thoughts.

I would never have photo's of my children on a dating site and don't understand people who do.

Same here. Plenty of space in the profile itself for reference towards kids.

I absolutely adore my little man, most of my pictures are both of us, but never going on a dating app. Just wrong
