Who's working on self improvement? How's it going?

I was gonna work on that back in May but all I've improved is my alcohol tolerance.

I'd like to learn Japanese.

I’ve been pushing my running to improve my 5k times, but injured my calf muscles, so need to find some low impact cardio exercises to keep my stamina up while I recover, any suggestions anyone?

I've been work in progress for a long time.

Deciding on what I truly want is the hardest part, but now I'm getting there, its going well OP.

Hi swing

Back to concentrating on fitness levels this month, college has been postponed so I'm filling my time with more crafting sessions x

Have a look at Duolingo or Memrise. Reddit is actually surprisingly helpful if you look in the right places.

For me... weight loss. Started the month on a high, by hitting my lowest ever weight having finally pushed through my target weight. So now have a new target and I'm optimistically trying to get that by month end.

I’m constantly working on me, because I’m always a work in progress.

Self-assurance, confidence and liking yourself takes constant maintenance. Exercise helps me with most of that, and copious amounts of sex

I’m also working on painting more and getting my head back into illustration. I’ve been neglecting my creative side for far too long.

Plenty of online tutorials, a new language or are you new to coding?

Newish. I'm working through HTML, CSS, and Java through Udemy at the moment.

I'm working on not getting angry at the insanity of work. It's starting to affect me negatively.

If I don’t then I backtrack quite quickly, so it’s a must. If I don’t look after me I can’t care for the people I love... and I have a lot of people leaning on me.

Keeping up your own inner peace, happiness and strength is vital. X

Thanks for the nudge. Just put up a sit up... foot... hook... thing... instead of working. Need to get back to my 300 a day routine along with the press ups. Gotta start getting club fit again :D

At the end of week two of couch to 5k

From the first day and now I'm definitely seeing some improvements and maybe I can actually do this

Congrats!

I've started running a few times now (and given up 1 fewer time...) and getting back up to 5k is an interesting thing to watch, stopping to walk 5 times drops to 3, to 1 and gone... then one day you'll complete your 5k and just keep running past your gate and do another lap without batting an eyelid.

I accidentally did a half marathon a few months back. Just find the pace that you can sustain sort-of-indefinitely and you'll be surprised how easy it is to go far further than you expected.
