"What is the most expensive gift you ever got someone? "

I generally prefer to spend time researching gifts than throwing cash at it, I find they are better appreciated.

Im not about financial gestures..

but it was a £300 bike for my daughters latest birthday.

That's not a lot by some people's standards for sure.

I do really thoughtful and personalised gifts really well though. My ex partner was very blessed financially and could have anything he wanted..

I simply printed off all the photographs from his world travels that year and made them into photo albums.

One valentines day i gave him a scrap book of our photo's, wrote out song lyrics, made notes on our experiences and memories of these times.. he adored it.

A black velvet cloak from a place in Leeds, silk lined. It was...very witchy.

Manchester (she/her)

On here or in general?

Don't really do gifts on here. Chocolate or a book maybe?

In general... I sought out a custom piece of jewellery for my mum for a milestone birthday.

We have a only small gift rule so we can spoil each other all year, can't afford big splurge gifts
