I've just ordered a body stocking and a couple of lace dresses...
Not my usual attire when it comes to lingerie but J has been wanting to see me in one for an age.
I had a body stocking years ago, when I was much slimmer and wasn't overly keen on how it looked on me even then and I'm a bit worried I'll look like a roast ham 
I may layer the pieces I've ordered with some more structured lingerie underneath, we'll see how they look when they arrive 
When was the last time you wore something out of your comfort zone? What was it? Have you worn it since?

Oh I don't think size is any indication of beauty...more that I don't think my shape lends itself to certain styles

I bought my first body stocking a few months ago OP.. Did match up with a nice black satin bra underneath as im quite big chested..I was well impressed. Felt very sexy.. Now have 3 different ones.. Give it a go girl  x |

I just got a delivery from love honey and this happened to me 
Put on weight over lockdown and body stockings did not look flattering on me!
Agree with the layering, that could be quite unique and look really good |

I wore a strappy summer dress the other day and I looked like a roasting joint It wasn’t out of my comfort zone as I wore it all last year. It’s just a bit smaller this year.
I’m blaming the washing machine on shrinking it and would be thankful for nobody for correcting me |

I have a pvc dress I love that I was dubious about when I was slighter err leaner... found it last week when tidying up and tried it in to see how much lockdown weight I’ve really gained.. needless to say it’s more that I thought and I looked like an overstuffed sausage. Ultimately it made me laugh so nothing lost. Sod it and enjoy x |

Fingers crossed they look good on you - body stockings are something I'll never buy/try because I know I'll have the roast beef effect.
The last time I wore something out of my comfort zone was on a date and I wore a tight black, knee length dress with no cardigan. I felt really sexy and grown up in it, like a proper adult. |

when I first got a bodystocking I was way bigger, like 4 clothes sizes bigger and at 4'11 that's a big difference.
I was tempted to put the oven on, rub myself in oil and go climb in.
After that it was the first time I wore a corset that was way out of my comfort zone, bit holy fuck it was the first time in years I actually FELT sexy |

I've seen plenty of bigger women in body stockings that look amazing! My size isn't the reason I think they will look awful
Corsets are amazing! They always make me feel incredible.
