Just got back from Cornwall after spending the last week there. Such a lovely place, sadly not much beach weather last week so very little opportunity for ogling

We came back after a 10 day break two weeks ago, loved it, could say one of our best breaks in many years, well apart from the return journey.

10 hours to do what would normally take 3.5 hours.

Got to love the A30.

Yup the A30 is a bitch but equally it keeps Cornwall the way it is loved. A motorway would change it as big industry would follow...

In the last month or so we have been to Cornwall twice for camping, paddleboarding, walking, running and it was such a lovely place.

OP I hope you have an awesome time there.

Her x

I set off at 6:30am, and made it all the way back to Middlesbrough in under 6 hours. The A38, A30 and M5 are an absolute nightmare but they were delightfully quiet at 6:30.

The Mermaid pub on the beach in Porth is nice. Not many surfers on that beach though.

I'll suggest "beach weather" is subjective

As a surfer kite and wind , wind and gnarly is exactly my beach weather and it keeps the tourists away yey

I wear shorts over my wetsuit to limit any perverts ogling

"Jam and cream the wrong way round! Say no more "

The cream tea was invented in Tavistock, which I believe (unless recent tectonic activity has changed things) is in Devon

Say no more
