I like a EastEnders secrets of the Square during the week. It is good to see classic clips of former characters.
My favourite period of time in a EastEnders was 1988/89 Dickens Hill prison and Den Watts in prison. Apparently he filmed the scenes in prison for five weeks in the summer of 88 and left the show.. The actual episodes was shown between September 1988 and Feb 1989. He was then shot by the canal. |

Angie Watts also left EastEnders in 1988 and the show bosses did not want Den and Angie leaving at the same time. So the had the prison storyline to keep Den on screen for longer six months when in actual fact he left six months earlier. |
