What do you think the men/women ratio on fab? I feel it’s 8/9 men to 1 woman, at least. I have to send nearly 30 tailored messages to get a reply, and not always positive.. |

Doesn't really matter what the ratio is (although it's between 10 and 15 to 1) - more whether you "get" the site and how it works and know how to use it for your best experience, and that applies equally to men and women.
The ratio could be 1:1 and someone who doesn't approach the site in the right way still wouldn't get a meet. |

Likewise if you discount the male profiles that don't "get" the site and how to approach it - the scales are a *lot* more evenly balanced then. |

Appearing the same as the other billion perfectly normal but desperate men is the danger I think. If you show some uniqueness and charm then making a success of this site is piss easy imho. Also very important to remember that you shouldn't and don't need to please ALL women either, just the one/ones you want! I'm a very average middle aged man but I'm never short of offers, mainly I think because I rarely accept them....   |

I agree.
However the problem is that the 'unsuitable' men far outnumber the decent ones. Due to the way the mailbox works on here, the unsuitable ones tend to drown out any decent messages. Or the women just get so fed up of the daft ones they don't bother replying.
