Like his greatest hits album the man was a Legend - bought reggae to the masses without losing sight of it's and his roots - really couldn't pick one track..

Get Up Stand Up

No Woman No Cry

Could You Be Loved

Buffalo Soldier

Three Little Birds

I Shot The Sheriff

One Love

Redemption Song

Exodus

Lively Up Yourself

Satisfy My Soul

I could go on...and on..

Allegedly killed by the CIA (although fact checking websites say that it is a conspiracy theory - just as they would, no doubt, have said that a plot to murder Kennedy before it happened would have been a conspiracy theory as well.)

Read "Drugs as Weapons Against Us" by John Potash

The book documents how the CIA targeted leftist musicians, including John Lennon, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, and Tupac Shakur to promote drugs while later murdering them when they started sobering up and taking on more leftist activism.

The first ever reggae track that I heard was waiting in vain. I was 13...so many moons ago.

Marley was principled. Spoke up for black rights and out about poverty. He is a legend and I admire and enjoy his music

If that was to me then in a way yes but 'the Wailers' line up changed I believe - the one constant was Bob Marley. Although he would not have had the same sound without them
