"I'm no expert but I can and do cook.
hi lorna , whats on the menu?"
I go through phases.
At the moment its everyday things like.
Shepherds pie, pasta bake, Paella, homemade kebabs ect...
But i do like to try something new at least twice a month.
I always make all my own sauces too.
Now the weather is getting colder i will do more pies, soups and stews. |

I like wholegrain but Ash takes a little Persuading.
Iv been mixing a bit of wholegrain or wild rice in with the white rice. That's really nice and adds a bit of colour. |

I'm really enjoying learning some of his mums recipes.
One of my recent favourites is chorizo and lentil stew. |

I can cook but my family aren't very adventurous with food, so it's just good home cooked food like roast dinners, shepherds pie, steak and homemade chips etc. I make myself things like stir fry quite a lot as I'm eating healthy.
Also make desserts like rhubarb crumble, sticky toffee pudding, and I make a good carrot cake.

Learned basics from a young age, I enjoy cooking so that helps. Couldn't do it for a living though, I've worked in a few kitchens and i think it'd suck the enjoyment out of it. |

I'm a great cook! Not quite pro chef standard but there's not much I can't cook or bake. Probably helps that I'm a proper foodie!
I love experimenting with flavours!
J can cook...but doesn't enjoy it so simply won't so it's a good job I'm alright at it

Cooking relaxes me a lot, I enjoy cooking for group of people and if they all enjoy it gives me great satisfaction!
Nothing sophisticated!
In recent lockdown I have mastered bread making, nothing better than fresh slice of warm bread with plenty of butter ?????? |

"I had a restaurant for 10 years so yes pretty good in the kitchen. Just much prefer cooking in bulk so often lack information! "
Batch cooking is cool. Get the slow cooker out and cook up a storm. Yummy dinner for that day, then freeze the rest. Home cooked ready meals, without all the crap in it from shop bought. Less mess to clear up too. Winner !! |

Was a chef for nearly 10 years. So i can boil an egg.
If I go around someones house for a meal, they end up asking me to help. I have been roped into cooking dinmer/garden parties for friends.
I LOVE cooking. Just got tired of the split shifts, early starts and late finishes and only having Sunday night off! |

Yes I can cook I love cooking especially curries, chilli con carne’s, grills steaks & ribs - I had to learn when I was very young due to some circumstances & I find it really strange when on a rare occasion someone else cooks... |

Yes, learned from my Granny mainly, a little bit my Mum and my Dad let me invent sauces to put on his dinner "Sauces that blow the top of your head off"
Taught S to cook from being unable to boil an egg and our son, who is a jolly good cook |

" Are you cordon bleu trained? A grill-master? Or like me can you barely boil water?"
I can cook enough to survive but being stuck in a kitchen slaving over an oven has never appealed to me. I prefer wandering around in the fresh air. |

"I learned to cook with Jamie Oliver. I have most of his books and know several recipes by heart. I can make a risotto out of anything "
How about some fish fingers, mango, soya sauce and tapioca. Let's see how that risotto turns out |

I learned to cook from my mum and my grandma, both received a professional training when they were young
Cooking runs in our family, two of my cousins are professional chefs (sous chef and chef de partie) but recommended to not pursuit a career in the kitchen when I was faced with the decision. Instead I have a career in computing and I still like to coock |

I’m happy to eat what I cook but I don’t think others would be so keen.
I’m not a fussy eater and it’s probably just as well.
When I’m invited out for dinner by friends I’m always very complementary to whoever has prepared the meal and always offer to wash up. |

The only good cheesecake is a baked cheesecake. And chicken cordon bleu is delicious. |

I prefer no bake cheesecakes- lemon, and raspberry and white chocolate would be my favourites. |
