I have had an hours flotation therapy and a full body massage. I feel like a totally new human!

How have your mornings been?

Ooooh I’d love to do that ! Does it take a while to actually relax and be able to ‘float’? X

Ermmm, if you do yoga/mrditate/practice mindfulness you'll probably be okay. You lie back and float straight away but the trick is being able to switch your brain off and not think.

I lie there listening to my heartbeat and you end up almost falling asleep. Its honestly the most relaxing thing in the world.

Flotation therapy sounds so good, it's one of the things I really want to do soon. This morning I've been working but my long weekend starts now! I am tempted to scour the shops for a white chocolate orange but it is raining and if I leave the house I feel it should be for a run, not for chocolate.

run to get the chocolate then run back home to eat the chocolate. That’s two runs!

You need to go into life coaching, this is the type of sage wisdom people will spend a small fortune on.

Floatation therapy... talk to me... wanted to try it but haven’t got round to it.

I’m not one that switches off the easily and always questioned if I could do it.

I should’ve been much busier than I have been and now it’s raining again.

Floatation therapy sounds luxurious

I mean, even if you don't switch of your thoughts it will still have benefits as you're not being bombarded with other sensory things and it's lying in the dark. But I just listen to my heartbeat or count my breaths in and out and switch off. X

I've been wanting to have a go in a floatation tank, I've been in sensory deprivation booth before, obviously no where near the same, but find it fascinating how concept of time goes out the window, so to speak. I could imagine coming out so fresh afterwords

Worthing

Not too bad. Managed to clear gutter of fallen moss before rain arrived. Sanded down a few surface cracks filled in the other day. Will paint later.
