stop wearing blue jeans and trainers, there comes a time when we start to look ridiculous. I think it should be 40 although i probably continued for a few years after that before i realised the error of my ways.
When will you stop?
Will you stop?

I always wear blue jeans (boot cut) but have never worn trainers. Always been boots, sandals or flip flops. Have now got a pair of Converse style shoes now - first pair of actual shoes I've owned for years.
Will never stop wearing blue jeans. |

Who is their right mind would stop wearing jeans- blue, black or otherwise.
Love blues and own 10 pair of hi-top cons.
Wear trainers when walking or running.
Anyone who says I can't wear ant of the above can get bent.

I think my wearing jeans is the least of the reasons my friends would stop talking to me
To be honest, I very rarely wear anything else, unless it's the rare occasions I'm suited and booted. I'll wear trainers if I've got a t-shirt on or boots if I've got a shirt on, I probably look like Clarkson (especially with the big hole in the top of my hair) and I couldn't give less of a fuck.
I suggest you adopt the same attitude, OP |

Then no.. I still wear trainers when in causal jeans and t shirt mode... unless I shouldn't be wearing t shirts at my age?
I'll wear a nice pair of shoes or boots if I need to be more formal and am wearing a shirt with my jeans.
Sometimes I mix it up and wear chinos... |

Just a quick tip, a suit should always be worn with a belt, a suit should never be shiny and if wearing a white shirt with a suit it should always be a tailored fitted shirt not a baggy primani one.. Enough fashion tips for the day |

Mr here. I wear jeans and trainers all the time and I look and feel fantastic in them. People should wear whatever they like and not be in any hurry to conform to a granddad look. And with all due respect Op I won't be taking fashion advice from a man in a cheap suit with a bottle of water rammed in one pocket |

I always though pensioners wore suits because that was the attire of their.
Pensions soon will be wearing denim.
And the next generation pensioners will be wearing tracksuits.
Generalisation but I hope you get what I mean.
I don't feel the need to put on a suit to nip round to Tesco just because I'm over 40.
One thing I have changed is I'm more likely to wear boots than trainers if I'm out socialising these days. |

My aunt rip, got her first pair of jeans at 80. She'd wanted jeans all her life but felt she was too old or it wasn't right for her as a head teacher or all those other daft constraints people feel because of others opinions. I'm glad she got them and wore them with her sensible shoes |

Golly i still have jeans and wear them on occasion , some times with my converse some times with my boots , walking and smart boots . I wear them caualy or with a smart jacket and shirt .
Every one should feel free to wear what they like . You cant read any ones thoughts so very little point in worrying what other people think about you or how you look. Heavens I wear cycling lycra, it serves a purpose .
Be free and enjoy the body your in chums |

I'm fully aware I'm a seriously lucky lady. I have a gorgeous husband, who has never wavered in his support for me and my ambitions, has always been there for me at difficult times and never batted an eyelid when I acquired a disability and have become less able to do stuff. He's a wonderful dad and stepdad, he can cook and he has a wonderful penis |
