There's been a lot of comment (positive I'm happy to say) about the older lady featured in this programme, but am I the only one who wants to give a cuddle to, and reassure, the lovely lady that was filmed in tears claiming that she was unattractive. CLEARLY not the case and obviously just a very unlucky night for her and her husband (who seemed to be really nice guys)! |

It was a powerful scene in the documentary, but she really needs to change her outlook. It's a really bad idea to swing for validation from others. It'll lead to all sorts of problems for them in future. They need to go a club with no expectations beyond having sex with each other. Otherwise they'll compromise their standards one night and that's a bad road to go down. |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
The way the doc was edited, there was no hint of either of them really talking to anyone - they always seemed on the edge of a conversation.
There was also no sign of them talking to the lady she said she fancied, or even that said lady was into girls.
They just seemed very shy, which can spiral in those situations into a dark place. But I thought it was interesting that she was saying "it's always the same", suggesting that there's more of a pattern than was addressed from any of their interviews.
Hopefully they'll just luck in to a good situation that builds/restores their confidence. |
