"Why do you have a need to post so many threads OP?"
An overactive imagination and the forum stimulates my creativity
I love writing, words, language and I create threads to purely amuse myself (if other people like them then that's a bonus).
For me to create using words is my escapism. There is no better feeling than having a blank white space and being able to create a world on it from nothing.
I have always had a natural ability to write creatively. It is a core part of me. And when my mind starts buzzing I just have to get the content out.

In all seriousness, OP, I think there are a few elements at play here, which can be summed up thus: GLOBAL PANDEMIC
People feeling frustrated, resentful, overly emotional, exhausted, worried, insecure, irate, bored, too much time on their hands, rushed off their feet - you get the gist!
You do you, don't sweat it if not all your threads are winners. Some of mine are fucking dire

If you express your creativity by way of starting threads it also suggests you seek something from any response you receive |

I will always do me. But I will always be the type to create a thread from the inability to get comments on threads. It's all very meta and post-modern |

Oh, just leave him alone to get on with it.
I don't see similar responses to people who regularly start threads. Or feel the need to interject after every fourth or fifth post. |

But what is your actual motivation for it though? What makes you need to? How does that feeling feel? How does it feel when it all fits into place and how does it feel when it doesn't work out how your hoped? What do you hope for from a thread? Do you think about what others think your motivation may be for posting and how it may alter their replies enormously, do you care? |

I get high. I am chasing the high. And I get comedowns. I don't really care what others think or how they respond - I still get high from responses (and thinking of creative answers to those responses). I am a creativity junkie. I mainline the English language and chase the words like a heroin addict. Writing is my opium |

"Pfffft. Im the nicest person on here.
No I am
No I am.
Can we all cuddle
I’ll move over so we’ll all fit. "
Yes. Peace, love, and lots of cuddles.i do love a good cuddle.
Might need a big bed to fit us all on though. Cushions and pillows on the floor might be a good idea. You know, an overspill area.
Criminal when spillage and wastage are allowed to happen.. |
