Question for the bbw ladies

Jump to: Newest in thread

KIDLINGTON

So ive seen a load of threads about how people adore bbws. I myself do like a larger and curvier lady. I think curves and a bit of flesh looks so enticing.

So ladies when you see these threads and all the men come out of the woodwork, how does it makes you feel?

Is it a case of men saying anything in order to stand a chance?

Is a case of men thinking bbws are easier to get a meet with than others?

Do you actually feel flattered that so many people are out there that truly appreciate your body?

Any other feelings?

I think it can be a mix of all of these, though sometimes some men use them as a way to put down other women and that’s a big no no.

It’s nice to be flattered but it doesn’t mean much on here as they don’t know me, and I’d rather have a compliment about something other than my body from someone that knows me x

Most men need to understand what bbw means and it’s not slightly over a size 12

That's true.. I guess a compliment from some one you know is better than from a random on a screen.

I like to think Women can see through all the bullshit and bluster.

Also when you invariably get someone putting one body type down on those threads in order to ingratiate themselves with another. I like to think that’s also transparent enough to see it for what it is.

I guess that's for a different thread.. as some people's perception on bbw is much different to others. And I don't want that debate to kick off on here.

I would like to think so too.. but we might be barking up the wrong tree and all be seen as white knights.

I think some men will say anything to get a woman into bed. Not all, but some. But so can women.

If there are men who genuinely like a fuller figured woman then im sure he will find her/them without a thread. Same as men who prefer gym fit, slim women

That's a very fair point. But forums do help identify people that you like through persona rather than just looking at profiles.

I'm a little cautious of what some men say. I don't take compliments well at the best of times being Northern Irish we follow it with a joke about ourselves common over here lol. But sometimes I feel if I'm on a night out & a nice fella tries to chat me up I sometimes wonder if he's a bet on with his mate's or thinks he can get somewhere coz I'm a larger woman they'll get their leg over easier coz you won't have a partner & you're desperate. Btw I've a partner & I'm definitely not desperate lol.

Every compliment I give on here is completely genuine. Otherwise there's no point. Why give a fake compliment, why chase women you're not attracted to? Makes no sense.

I would agree with you. But some guys will play the numbers game. Which is why I am interested to know what the ladies think when they see a thread go up.

Yep my guard is always up. Takes a lot to get through. Especially for some women like myself that have had verbally abusive relationships told your fat, ugly, disgusting etc So when you hear men saying things to you you automatically hae your guard up. As we say in Northern Ireland you think he's pulling a fly one on ya.

"Most men need to understand what bbw means and it’s not slightly over a size 12 "

I've seen girls over a 14 describe themselves as bbw? Is it a fashion thing? Bearing in mind Marilyn Monroe was at least a 16?(I'll stand correction on that?) And she's still considered one of the sexiest women ever?

I would consider anything under a size 20 as pretty normal, but that's a personal opinion

Thing is with the whole "BBW" label, its open to interpretation isn't it? I class a BBW as a woman over say a size 18, I think people have to remember too that curvy and BBW are not the same too, there are women that are a size 12 that would call themselves curvy (I remember a time when that was skinny!).

When I was single I was quite popular but I always took anything a guy said with a pinch of salt until I had a good look at his profile and verifications, if he had on his profile he preferred the larger lady and had verifications to back that up, only then would I think he is serious.

I hate labels but I also know if I was to take part in one of the hot or not threads for example I would be overlooked, if I took part in ones for the larger lady, I would still be over looked as I have seen quite a few times, that as mentioned above about curvy ladies put themselves forward for this category too, so I'd rather stay away from them altogether.

Whilst I’m sure there are some chancers in here who’ll say owt to get their leg over, I am also fairly positive there are folk who find the more ample bodied to their liking, genuinely.

Slim or fuller figured, tall or petite, there is always someone, somewhere who is silently looking at you and thinking fwoaaaaar.

I agree and I actually find it offensive that people assume if a BBW is paid a complaint on how she looks then it must be because the person who has given the complaint must be after something.

I'd like to say here that I don't actually believe people who give compliments are automatically after something. So no offence is meant. I'm just curious As to what women think when they see it.

Technically I am one, but I never use the term and generally avoid the threads.

It's a good enough classification to pair people off accordingly so I see no harm. Can guys 'fake' liking bbw's?

There was a "straight" guy the other day contemplating a BJ from another guy because he couldn't get a woman.... ....there's a lot of "fake" about on fab when the numbers don't stack in the favour of lazy fella's!

That said, I like curves on a woman, so many women I would fancy could be classed as BBW. I think it's a bit of a pointless classification tbh - we don't feel the need to say beautiful big man or beautiful thin person, I wonder why that is....? (thinky emoji)

I agree with this some men will just try their luck as numbers don't stack up.

This is providing a useful insight though...

I know exactly what you went through I too was in a mentally abusive relationship and yes it's hard to believe when someone finds you attractive when you've been in that situation, and alot of the men I tell my size it's not like you can't see I carry some weight but you also get the odd idiot who cant take rejection so then comes the name calling. It's a double edged sword but I would like to think that if a man on here isnt attracted to you then he wont bother wasting his time or yours because what's the point if there is no attraction just be honest and being overweight doesnt mean we are easy we are human afterall x

I HATE when someone uses that term to compliment me..."I love BBWs".

I'm not here to be fetishised. If you prefer fat women, great, but don't label me. There's a lot more to me than my fatness.

Really doesn't bother me, i believe we have stereotypes for convenience..

If i see the term BBW or SSBBW at least its a clear indicator its someone who likes a BIG girl.. someone with excess fat bit of wobble, stretch marks etc

I find 'curvy, or plump' harder to decipher in terms of what they actually mean.

Its nice to know that men do appriciate the type of body that i have. I've been a member of Feabie for a while now and guys also adore super super big girls and its given me a huge boost of confidence to me. I don't feel ashamed or like i have to hide from the majority of society, like im shit on someones shoe.

I tried conventional dating sites in the past and was branded 'niche' or 'specialist'.. i found a place i belonged. I don't have 2 heads, just happen to be a normal person who abused my body over the years with bad food choices. I am human though.

Of course everything is taken with a pinch of salt, but with age comes experience. I have explicitly open and honest pictures and if guys wanna hump me.. i can make the informed choice to use them, like they may want to use me.

Consenting adults at the end of the day.

What i find interesting is that people are perceiving women of plus size are easy targets?

Why is this? Does the fact i carry excess weight mean that i am going to drop my morals and standards? I can assure people i personally would never!

You'll know from meeting me I like large ladies but it doesn't mean I think they're easy..

I disregard anyone who says they love ALL.of any type, whether that’s BBW’s, BBC’x, TV’s, certain nationalities etc. It makes me think they’re after someone to satisfy a kink or to tick something off a bucket list etc. rather than having any interest or attraction to the individual.

For example, I like dark haired men with beards but I don’t declare I like ALL dark haired men with beards, all of their other physical traits, personalities and desires will vary greatly.

I agree with that. But I would say I find myself more attracted to larger ladies.... in a club for example I am more likely to look at them. However as you say it doesn't mean that I will get on with all and want to take things further.

That the same within here.. some are really demanding and high maintenance which is not my style..
