Apparently they want to put technology in John Terry now, to make it easier to tell when he’s crossed the line.

Not a guy you would ever trust or turn your back on. Uneducated thug. Before all the Chelsea fans jump up and down just remember the facts.

I am a Chelsea fan but I'm also a fan of multiculturalism in England and spend a lot of my life at work breaking down racism in the town where I live. I'm not defending John Terry's adultery...

But what happened to innocent until proven guilty?

He played very well yesterday.

Thgen i take it you do work for the CPS.Then you can tell us the 3 or 4 words Terry says when Ashley Cole walks across the screen and obscures him. I said it before and I'll say it again,If Didier Drogba,Michael Essien and Cole had he slightest inkling that terry was a racist he would have been bombed out of Chelsea 6 months ago..However if you ask me if Terry said something in the context of a high octane local derby match to Anton derogotory and based on the colour of his skin I'd say he probably did..But I still don't believe he's a racist. His benevolence towards Senrab FC before the incident would suggest not.

i've never known anyone else be vilified on this site as much as JT

his ego is so huge - after letting chelsea down by kneeing a barca player in the back - denying it, then getting banned from the final , he then appears on the pitch at the final whistle in the final, in full kit, and goes up to receive the cl trophy himself !! you couldnt make it up. what a pathetic tosser .

Totoally agree with that..

All this shaking hands before a game, cant comment on the ref, mustn't run anyone down...players going into a track and raising their hands in the air as if to say 'I promise not to touch him ref'...then wondering why they get knocked off the ball so easy (its because they are unbalanced)

Refs who think they are more important than the players..

Before long players wont be allowed to make proper contact when tackling..it will be like touch rugby.

The wankers and yes men at the FA need to be cleared out.

Probably because as the former England captain he needs to portray a squeaky clean image!

And yes we need to wait for the court case for the evidence and verdict.

However, I'm pretty sure that if any if us were to be accused of something potentially this serious in the workplace we would be suspended with pay until the outcome.

As for his performance last night and those saying he did a good job well for me a good job would have been preventing the ball crossing the line.

As it was there was an earlier offside that wasn't picked up so the only good thing out of this will now be the introduction of goal line tech.

Which strangely enough it takes an injustice to another country for it to now be admitted that it's now needed.

You could argue that any lose of control during the qpr match just highlighted his true feelings.

He may have been benevolent because of what didier does which is true benevolence. Or like the much maligned Craig Bellamy or for that matter like many other footballers do.

You seem to think that because football is high pressure and passionate that abuse is ok.

So how many other professional sports people abuse others verbally?

Have you seen it in a rugby match? Either codes; and don't and don't tell me it's not a passionate game because those guys do put them selves in harms way and for far less money. Oh and a certain England player turned down a trial with London Irish because his team at the time Southampton wouldn't let him.

This week a tennis star lost his winnings and points for abusing the court and injuring an official because he lost the plot.

He made lots of excuses for his outburst but you'd probably excuse him. Thankfully he didn't verbally abuse anyone.

There isn't any excuse and thats the bottom line.

Look at how we lead in tackling racism.

why does the multi millionaire Katie Price deserves all she gets....

she parades herself on TV and the media for money GRANTED, she often bleats when it doesn't go her way GRANTED, she plays people who allow themselves to be played GRANTED.

but a successful business woman she is.

and she hasn't killed, murdered, raped anyone.

and if people want to ram it to her on an internet site, cool. Bitterness and jealousy will drive many to do so, a genuine dislike of her some and a very very few who have actually sat with her and had a conversation to form their opinion.

I am indifferent to what she does but I wish her no harm.

Yes it can be, many racists think they arent, hence the stupid justifications such as, `i cant be a racist i have a friend who is black` or `its not you you are different`

in fact most racism comes from ignorance of another race or community so people fear or belittle that which is different, if there was that intent to target or belittle, objectify another race then its a form of racism whether the person realises it or not.

I have to smile at how so many people jump up and down shouting what is effectively bollocks. Is John Terry Racist? Is he being charged for being a Racist well no he isn't he may possibly and its still a may, be brought to task for allegedly making racist comments on a football pitch in the hight of a match. Those comments along with calling other players fat cunts, fucked your wife last night etc go on all the time to get a reaction out of players and spoil their game. Until the case if proved or not its still here say but get your facts right he is not being brought to task for being a racist.

It won't stop the twisters who are looking to wind up others on here championing a _iewpoint they in reality are only doing so in a mild form of trolling though.

Hang on wasn't that what Terry was doing?

He is a football player, with tallent enough to put him in a position of being a young man with suddenly a lot of money and a lot of publicity.

As far as I can see he never went to finishing school, didn't earn his money by charm and grace, and the only role model he can be, is as a target for teenagers who are tallented at football, what they need to encourage them is wild parties, fancy cars and lots of sex.... seems he is doing a pretty good job!

For arguements sake can you imagine England winning the Euro's then he is found guilty of racism, the FA will get battered for allowing the trial to take place after the Euro's. "I have to smile at how so many people jump up and down shouting what is effectively bollocks.

Hmmm, didn't Suarez claim what he said was acceptable where he comes from?

So you seem to be condoning that too..."

what of cricket where they seem to do an aful lot of "winding up" but they call it sledging i believe?.

ferdinand was initally unaware of what allegedly went on but the police had to investigate it because a member of the public(a tv _iewer?) had reported it to the police.

which if true gives all defenders a problem every time they make a late tackle or go over the top. they'll all be up on assault charges.

or if a french player decides to drop kick a spectator at selhurst park

have to say the drop kick was quite impressive, but that cannot be condoned regardless of the abuse he was getting. They are paid huge amounts of money

A work colleague told me Terry is a racist, that the FA are spineless for not ensuring Terry never played for England again and that Roy Hodgson was a wanker for picking Terry for the Euros squad. the whole thing stinks he told me

I then asked him if he would refuse to watch the England matches on a point of principle seeing as he felt that strongly about it..He hasn't spoke to me since

"For arguements sake can you imagine England winning the Euro's then he is found guilty of racism, the FA will get battered for allowing the trial to take place after the Euro's. Even crazier if he was the won that puts in the winning goal, innocent til proved guilty i say, but if guilty then he is in plenty of trouble !"

The FA will not hold an enquiry until AFTER the trial in July

If he is found guilty, it is an open and shut case, if found innocent, it makes it more difficult for the FA to bring charges.

So far Terry has changed his story, three times about what happened and what was allegedly said

Anton Ferdinand never heard the comment being made and is a completely innocent victim in this incident

It wasn't Stamford Bridge but the Cobham training ground..But...

Chelsea FC statement after an investigation "we are confident that at no time did Terry ask for or accept money in relation to visits to the training ground."

as for the earlier mentioned affair with a team mate, The News of the World and the Mail on Sunday subsequently printed apologies to Vanessa Perroncel for breaching her privacy and stated that the story was "untrue in any case

Still, don't let the facts get in the way of a good witch hunt. More proof that some people believe everything they read in the papers.

So Wayne Bridge refused to shake Terry's hand at a match shortly after the story broke... because John Terry didn't have an affair with his missus???

well there's obviously more to it but they both still deny it and two papers issued an apology. you won't find a press article anywhere that refers to it as 'an affair' only an 'alleged affair'"

My opinion is that the NOTW was forced to print an apology for breaching Perroncel's privacy and print a blase 'the story is not true' statement, but it doesn't make it untrue either. Bridge wouldn't have retired from international football because Terry was also in the England team if Terry hadn't been shagging his missus, and Bridge was wanted in the team by Capello so it's not a case of Bridge retired because he wouldn't have been selected anyway.

John Terry's judgement is suspect at best, or he's an out-and-out dickhead at worse. I don't believe he is a racist but I think he knows full well what will wind up opposing players and he uses that to full effect, his blatant dig in the back of the leg to Sanchez in the CL Semi Final proves that. My real problem with the guy is he believes he's as pure as the driven snow and somewhat untouchable.

He was cleared in court of glassing anyone, so will have to give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

He WAS fined £60 for parking in a disabled bay though, but lots of people do that too.

I'll go with the 'shagging ya best mates missus - regularly' as the condemning factor about the bloke.

Well the police investigated it on the strength of that video - plus we have all seen how Terry tries to explain away his "mistakes" - " I didn;t mean to knee him in the back it was an accident2" - He's pretty thick really and the court will decide if he implicated himself

Where have I said that - point it out to me - you just asked if there was any eveidence and I told you 2 possible sources which you dismissed out of hand - all ive said is that the court will decide if it is valid eveidence = you seem to like accusing people of saying things that they havent

"Mikel deffinately heard what was said you could see from his expression"....

YOU said that, you have no way of knowing if this is true or not....you would be great on a jury

What does that mean - in my opinion he heard what was said - "

Fortunately for John Terry your opinion on what someone 'might have heard' won't be served up as evidence in court

O o O oo

To be fair, people can have an opinion of wether the man is gulty or not....it won't matter if they do think he is guilty anyway as it would be a huge coincidence if one of us ended up sitting on a jury of he was on trial.

"I haven't a clue if he is guilty or not...I don't much care for football....but I have a distinct distaste for people who act as judge and jury before the accused even reaches the court....

Often only based on the fact that they are succesful and therefore fair game for personal attack and vilification. If not for his fame and money he may have been found guilty of previous accusation if he wasn't able to afford the best lawyers in the country and your defence of course"

Now we are getting down to it....it's not his actions, it's not his innocence or guilt.....it's his fame and money.

+1

said it before, everyone has the right to a fair hearing under the law of the land..

those that are happy to condemn without recourse to the evidence would scream in outrage if they or their own were not afforded the same right..

So if Anton never heard it.....did ANYONE actually hear it?

The nearest two players were Ashley Cole and Jon Obi Mikel. Neither seemed very concerned by it

Mikel deffinately heard what was said you could see from his expression

Again....conjecture

Why dont you just leave it to the courts and maybe the FA the rest of us are

and for the sake of justice neither will yours as Im sure you would do you best to make sure he got of if you were on the jury no matter what the evidence was - what is it with you Jane you seem to want to pick arguements with wverone on here over the least little thing and you still have said where I said he was guilty - but no need to apologise for your false accusations

I don't know if anyone has mentionned it above ( not read it all ) but one thing that didn't go down too well about John Terry ( et al ) was the "Super Injunction".

Which are not available to ordinary JoePublic and are all to do with how much money someone has.
