Anyone use them or have regular spray / fake tans? I've been mistaken for Russian and Eastern European far too many times because of my pale Irish skin. One bloke outside yelled in my face "Go back home you Polish b*stard". So I've decided to get a good tan. Problem is, are tanning beds dangerous / fake tans orange and messy? What are your experiences with them and do they come off during sex and on the sheets? |

"Tanning beds are dangerous, they are banned completely in Australia.
Be proud of your complexion buddy "
This. Tanning beds are bad and even pro spray tan can look really daft. My skin is naturally milk bottle white and I don't tan, only burn, and if I apply tan several shades darker than my skin, I just look stupid. My hair and my eyes suit my skin tone, so embrace it! And don't skimp on the Factor 50 |

Fake tanning is a art forum and can be quite a tasks
And set aside at least day lol or ur streak it really bad
Layering is ur best bet with it and get rest for ruind bed sheets and what not lol
So coat a layer let it dry for 15 minutes coat a norther layer let it dry for 15 minutes then one more layer let it dry for 15 minutes leve on for bween 3-8 hours depending on how dark you want it
Repeat once more and should be good for about 7 days or so
exfoliate Before hand
Plus have tan remover mousse on hand as it’s starts to fade and go yellow striped it off
With tan remover mousse and exfoliating mitt
And restart prossese all over agin
I only fake tan if going out to clubs or for meets that are not one offs
Or if I have went on a shopping spree and got like 8-9 outfits I fake tan for a mass pitcher takeing night

My man has used Bondi Beach I think it is - but there's a version for men (possibly the same formula as female one?). It worked great on him but for best results with any tan - follow the great advice above! |

My advice is don't do it. Sod what that ignorant man thinks, be yourself and be confident about who you are and what you look like.
I too have very pale skin with many freckles and that's just who I am, I accept that. Just like I accept that I haven't got the body of a model.
OP there's always something we don't like about our appearance. But making changes particularly via sunbeds (which come with health risks) just because of a silly man's idiotic attitude is not something you need to do.

Please don't use tanning beds. I don't understand how they are allowed to exist, they are so dangerous. A tan isn't worth the risk of cancer, and if you're very fair to begin with this only increases your risk. You will also age very badly because of UV damage.
I used to use them when I was 16. I'm very pale and I would always burn, never tan. I also had a mole on my back change size and texture which completely put me off using them.
You can get some amazing fake tans these days, they aren't all orange. I quite like Palmers cocoa tan lotion as it's subtle but gives a sunkissed look. But I think you should embrace your pale skin and safely enjoy the sunshine we are lucky enough to have in the UK. |
