I've always found that hearing someone's voice can make a huge impact into if i ultimately fancy someone or not.
It can add and subtract from overall attractiveness.
Banter in the written form (forum posts, private messages, or texts) may well be fine, but i do love voice clips on either whatsapp or by phone call.
Anyone else like me? Im always curious of forum users and what they sound like  |

Yeah, I used to shy away from phone calls and video messages but now I love them! Makes people so much realer and easier to fancy when you've heard or seen them animated. |

Putting voices to faces or profiles anyway is fantastic. It's always interesting to hear and it definitely gives you a better understanding of the owner. So much can be lost in translation when just written down. |

yeah it gives that sense of 'this person is actually real'.. plus i find that if banter is genuine there will be quick flowing responses rather than awkward silences |

Thats a good point, if i have been in a bad mood ive read a written post with a negative light..
equally if someone has been in a foul mood they may have read my written text with the wrong tone. x |

People just did whatever they wanted. But it’s important to set up a new YouTube account as if you already had one you could end up outing your real name - people all advised everyone about this! It was really good fun. There’s about 9 threads on the original as it took a while for people to get brave. Last time round everyone just went for it straightaway! |

Maybe you are meet verified or something and that makes the difference. I'm not sure, but its telling me I gotta wait 3 days which sucks. Plus side though is that I'm still a bit bunged up and would probably sound nasaly anyway lol |

It's not a deal breaker by any means, but a nice voice can add a bit of something extra to someone I already fancy 
It can work the other way too...years ago I was talking to someone through work, and he had the most amazing deep yet soft voice, with a soft geordie accent. I was really disappointed when I met him, he looked like a mole |

I prefer talking to messaging given the option... especially with someone I like. It builds the connection between people and there is nothing quite like loosing track of time talking to someone and getting those butterflies |
