So I got home earlier today and my razor has loved and was wet..
It turned out my housemate had used my razor as he had run out of blades. It have thrown a hissy fit as I think my razor is mine and I would not dream of using his..

Nope.
He could have gone unshaved for a few hours until he got new blades, or at least asked you if you had a spare blade he could use on your razor.
You can't just use someone elses. It's not hygienic. |

Camberley occasionally doncaster |
I certainly wouldnt use a razor that is clogged with another persons dead skin cells and sebum. Also you have to be wary of bacterial infections like staph, fungal infections, follicolis and possibly even warts.

Jeez it's not on but equally I wouldn't throw my toys out of the pram! Just tell him not to use your stuff. And hide it away.
God I really couldn't live in shared accommodation. Other people are fucking rank. |

no you aren't ! Wtf ! That person may be using your toothbrush or dry his wet willy foreskin/wet labia from peeing on the toilet rolls without throwing the paper...then it dries and you don't know it and use to wipe your anus |

Razors, by their very nature are quite high risk in terms of hygiene (just like tooth brushes) so I think it's weird he'd just use yours.
As the blades are replaceable I'd just ask him to buy you a new set and move on.
Did you tell him the last thing you shave was your ass? |

Not over reacting but learn from it I guess and don't leave it in there now you know.
He could have done it before to and you didn't know Definitely not good.
As a friendly gesture I would maybe go out and buy him some of his own if he needs them if he is a friend and not just a house mate. But that depends on your relationship. That's a very mum thing of me to do though |

I wouldn't have hit the roof but would have said something to him about it not being on. As said, I think he's probably done it before too and you've only just caught him. |

Wondering why you’re telling us on here about it OP! There is nothing stranger than people. If it’s not bolted down then it’s open invitation! He thinks because you left it in bathroom it was ok to use it. Maybe rules should have been set when he moved in? |

On no, completely unnecessary. The rules are crystal clear. NEVER USE SOMEONE ELSE'S RAZOR. In the same way you wouldn't use someone else's toothbrush. ...
Or when house sharing... Eat someone else's extra vintage cheddar that they've been looking forward to snacking on all day only to find an empty wrapper still in the fridge....
A line has been crossed.... |

Oh yes a line has been crossed but he will think that it’s in the bathroom it’s open invitation to use freely. I bet he has been using it ages OP. Imagine the germs on that razor. I would have him removed from the property as I could not share a home with someone with that attitude |
