Happy birthday Phil Lynnot

I remember seeing Phil on tv as a kid and thinking he was so cool. Those long skinny legs in jeans, the afro, the come to bed eyes and the accent and voice of course.
Visited his grave when I was over that side of Ireland few years bk. |

His immortal line;
"is there any ladies in the audience with a little oirish in them?"
Ladies in the audience scream...
"is there any ladies in the audience would loike a liitle oirish in them?"
Much more screaming.......
One of the best live bands I've ever seen.

He was lead singer of the group Clover who supported them when I saw them at Wolves Civic 1976 |

I so wish I was around to see them live. Even on the live recording I get shivers when I hear him say that line |

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’ |
Found a track on a heavy metal ballad compilation on YouTube the other day...
Thin Lizzy - "Dear Miss Lonely Hearts"
It's got Snowy White on one of the twin lead guitars alongside Scott Gorham!!!! John Sykes was my favourite to be honest. Thin Lizzy Live is a favourite as swell as Thunder & Lightning!
