Do you still need an alarm??
Jump to: Newest in thread
Because of some shite yesterday and a bad day , I ended up forgetting to set my alarm for work this morning and was nearly an hour late oops.
But my question is , do you guys still need an alarm to get up for work in the morning , or is your body clock finely tuned to the point you dont need it ?? |

I set it if I've had a late night, or a couple drinks, but am usually up around 5. It's quite annoying sometimes, as now and again I like a lay in, but very hard to nod back off after that. |

I have a puzzle alarm clock that makes me do sums before it'll switch off. Usually wake up before it nowadays but if I do have a bad night's sleep it always wakes me up better than radio or buzzing that you can just switch off easily. |

Yes.
I have an app on my phone for one of those alarms which won't stop until you solve a puzzle. I still have to set it about 20 minutes before I need to wake up though.
I also have a smart bulb which comes on at full brightness to help as well.
I'm really bad at waking up on time and worse in the winter. |

I always set one but Im usually awake right before it goes off anyway, no matter what time I set it for. If my body isnt sure, it just wakes me every half an hour to check, I wish it would just rely on the alarm sometimes |

I definitely still need an alarm, although if I don't actually have to get up I'm wide awake by 6.30 no matter if I've slept or not.
You need me to wake you up of a morning |

The body clock is relatively accurate, but not accurate enough that i dont set an alarm.
Today for example i set alarms for 7:15, 7:30, 7:45 and 8:00 as i like a gradual wake up.
Must have fallen back asleep after the last one but still woke up naturally before i needed to start work. |
