I get that and its a hard subject to talk about no pun intended...but id still have to say something because clearly its bothered you....

For example:

Was it my fault that the meet didnt go well.

Am I going home saying the same.

(There isnt always the chemistry...)

Was there something I could have done better which you could have guided of towards "during"...

If this didnt work for you... I need "one" of you to tell me... Second time could be a winner, if I can be what you need...

If not... Handshakes all round and move on to the next...;-)
