Yorkshire

Thor's Sol Ast which is currently open next door to 'The Principal Hotel' is worth a visit. Can't miss it if you're travelling down via train as it's right near the station. Open air, socially distanced tables and well staffed with a lovely atmosphere.

The House of Trembling Madness also a great shout.

Enjoy.

It's hard to recommend places with the Covid restrictions in place as it's a bit different to how it was six months ago. Turtle Bay and a few of the other bars around there are good but I've not been out on a night since the lockdown so no idea what they're like at the moment. Golden Fleece is a good pub, The Hop is good for live music or open mic stand up etc, Three Tuns is OK too.

Also do the Ghost walk that meets outside the Kings Arms if you like history and spooky stories, gives you chance to soak up the atmosphere of the city before going for drinks if you're doing the tourist thing.

Nope it's still very much open, I was in there just before lockdown drinking Hobgoblin and their Facebook page is still being regularly updated

A long time since i went in there but the upstairs toilet had a big mirror on the wall behind the loo.

Me and my gf at the time made very good use of it..
