am with you on the 'nice' cock front, but recognising someone has a big one or is an attractive fella facially or has a good body isn't a declaration of sexuality
it is an appreciation or at least a recognition of what is |

I don't see why not you can comment on a child being hansom or pretty without sexual meaning. |

if I like the cock, I like the cock
and me saying it thro the tinternet, it never bothers me to say anything
now if I was shouting it thro their letterbox, maybe I might add a caveat |

"i feel the need to add 'btw im straight' when i compliment women.
but, why ?"
because sometimes especially on a site like this, a compliment on someones appearance can be seen as a flirtatious statement. If you were to send out a message to someone you liked the look of with the intent of meeting surely you'd pay a compliment to the way that person looked |

When I compliment a lady I dont feel the need to follow with I'm straight..I do smile at the reaction I get tho often quite surprised to receive positive comments from a women.
I love to message people and say good things. Sometimes not well taken though. |

i agree, but can't see myself sending a message to another man saying i think they're good looking or got a good body. if they put it in pics they probably know it already. |

I was going to say something similar. You can also say your mums pretty or your dads handsome to a make without having intentions of boneing them. Well I can |

but you can compliment people you see and have no intention (or hope of) ever meeting and it is meant as just that, a compliment |

I would imagine someone like Andrej Pejic gets told he "looks good" by straight men on a daily basis....

am not talking about private messages, am talking more forum posts
pm's are just that, private and in that the context of the remark, may take on a whole new meaning

i will fab pictures of both sexes if they are artistic and appeal to me.
If i were to send the message though and im aware the woman is bi sexual and looking for a meet then i just add 'btw im striaght'
people on here are not always honest in their profiles when it comes to sexuality and so im just verifying that i am straight |

because you think that the person may think you are coming on to them, or because you are scared they might come on to you ? or both ? |

so just let the compliment stand
if they feel the need to come back, then say 'thanks, but i am straight'
then bolt your doors and lock your windows |

It does seem perfectly acceptable for a lady to complment another lady. If a lady complimented me I would take it how it was intended whether she was straight, bi or lesbian.
Men should learn to accept the same in my humble opinion. |

Why not?
I would make complimentary comments about another woman's look/dress sense etc., without fear of being mistaken for hitting on her.
I believe it is more to do with the way it is said/done/etc...
