I think what we pay in earnings is fair. Having to pay it again and again and again on other things isn't fair.

The worst tax in the world is inheritance tax!

I have to disagree I think it's to much. I never really thought about it until I went self employed but now it kills me. I have to pay something like £200 pounds tax on every thousand pounds profit which I earn over a certain amount and £90 for something else.. That's almost 300 quid out of every thousand pounds profit. Thats hard earned money.

As for inheritance tax I thought you only paid tax on that if its a big inheritance.

By and large yes, though i dont appreciate the double and triple taxation we often end up paying on goods.

Not really no. There’s ways of getting around it though. AVCs, childcare vouchers etc.

Do you have an accountant? It’s unusual to pay more tax when you’re self employed.

I've never heard of someone that's self employed complaining about the tax they pay....always happy with the rebate they receive though!

definitely not on fuel. Just look at the difference in the price of red diesel compared to white.

Our tax and system of government is fucked.

When you look at the Nordic countries and places like Germany is the way countries tax systems should be run in my opinion.
