Watched 'Coroner' on NowTV yesterday and the first song played I thought was really good.

Looked it up and it was Reckless Eric doing 'Whole Wide World' - someone I was not familiar with before.

Have you recently found a new to you song, band, album which you want others to check out?

Shazam is one of those apps which I had completely forgotten about. Thanks for mentioning it

Mind check that out. I have a thing for really good cover versions. Which gets me to reccomend Juice Webster's version of Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out of My Head'.

I like that version.

I also think Imagine Dragons rendition of 500 miles is sung really well better than the original.

cool

The story is this... Bad Wolves wanted to do a cover version of Zombie but obviously had to get permission from Delores O'Riordan of The Cranberries and they also asked her if she would like to feature in their version, she agreed to their request, but the night before they were due to record in the studio, Delores drowned as a result of alcohol/drug use, Some time later Bad Wolves released the song in Delores' honor & donated $250,000 to her children.

There and to the left a bit

If you like ska then I can't recommend The Simmertones enough - bright and breezy ska with a social conscience

I’ve seen them live earlier this year (when that was still a thing) as they were supporting a couple of bands I like... Awesome band live, great energy, and Zombie is quite emotional when they do it...

I’ll also recommend Killing me slowly

'Remember When' is good too, their music videos give the songs much more feeling & emotion
