When was the last time you put something in your mouth and let out an involuntary mmmm or closed your eyes to savour the flavour sensation?

Yesterday, fresh strawberry with sweet, vanilla flavoured whipped cream. Simply delicious!

You know this thread will end badly!

Its always food eaten outdoors after a hard days activity.

You can't beat a simple bit of warm food cooked on a small gas stove overlooking a wild beauty spot away from it all.

I have just had baked avocado with an egg cracked in it and cracked black pepper on wholegrain buttered toast, with crispy bacon and baked homegrown cherry tomatoes, and a hot strong cuppa.

Decadent weekend breakfast! What about you? xx

What makes yours special, everyone has little variations that make it a bit different everywhere. For instance I have one friend who swears by adding half keychup, half tomato puree, and another who adds anchovies?

This sounds incredible, proper foodgasm worthy. Last night I made blackened chicken with "dirty" cajun rice and an avocado, roasted red onions, spinach and sesame salad and it was so good. I'm resisting the temptation to make similar for lunch.

Lurpak on toast, now you're talking my kinda language. Cold toast is the worst, nothing like being distracted and then realising it's gone gold.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

I cooked yesterday a lamb & garlic burger on bread, diced gem lettuce, tomatoes chopped finely. Salad cream drizzled over the salad part. Burger on top. Fried cara_elised red onions on the lamb burger with a tomato relish and tomato ketchup! It would have been lush had I had a burger bun. I may have spontaneously combusted and entered Buddha heaven! Mmmmmmmmm.

I've just had a beautiful piece of rump, charred on the outside and pink in the middle, fried mushrooms and tomatoes with a side of chips and coleslaw.

surrounded by twinkly lights

Its always New york cheesecake drizzled with honey and I can preempt my mmmmmm just by imagining it.

If I were a mastiff dog I'd have puddles of drool

I'd been working a 12 hour shift with a 45 minute drive to work each way.... my lunch was in the fridge on station but we never got a break. I got home and found crumpets with Aldi Sea Salt butter and my homemade blackberry jam...
