How has your day/week been?

Are you doing OK?

For those who have had a good week, good stuff and I hope it continues for you.

For those having a tough time or just a crappy day, I hope tomorrow is better for you!

My usual zest for life seems somewhat diminished at present but I'm sure it will be back...fingers crossed!

I've had a busy week, but I've finally logged off and ready for 9 much needed days off of work. It's my birthday on Monday, and I'm going to the countryside for a couple of days of peace and quiet to fully switch off and relax. And I have some presents that a dear friend sent me that I can't wait to open.

My week has been good, I've booked a beautiful place to stay, I've coped with work and I've not eaten all the carbs. I also managed to find some more bargain perfume in Boots (Marc Jacobs Decadence for £10) so that's my Mum's Christmas present sorted.

I should be walking on air given the last few days but I feel a bit uneasy if honest and don't really know why!

I can sympathise as you could be describing how I've been feeling lately.

I keep trying to shrug it off but it has persisted.

A manicure or a bit of a pampering always makes me feel a little better and I hope it works for you too..at least as a start.

Thank you. The isolation is taking its toll on them and restrictions have meant we've shut down in person assistance. It's really hurting them. But we do the best we can.

I will be honest, I'm starting to get really pissed off at my work colleagues! They pretend they are pulling their weight, but they are fucking not!

I'm annoyed at myself for caring too much and not being as selfish as they are, I'm annoyed at my team leader for accepting holiday requests, So WTF are they doing? During this time of lockdown? (For us in Aberdeen) again selfish people putting them selves above others for a pint!

So yes, I am feeling a bit bitterly angry just now.

Why the hell do I feel I need to keep up my working class standards, yet others feel free to let them go?

I clock in on time, I work until closing, why the hell can I now break the cycle that others can clearly do?

I work as part of a team and it's bad if someone continues to not pull their weight. More so, if it means that you then need to pick up the slack. That is so frustrating!

Don't be annoyed at yourself for caring too much, that's a great quality to have. It's bad that your TL, management don't see what is going on! Xx

. Yes, I think that in the moment of any negative emotions or thoughts it is hard at times to remember the positives.

Lovely weekend will depend on this plumber situation I've been ranting on about most the week, but I won't mention that again

I have missed most of the week on here... so I'm not familiar with your plumber troubles. Whatever it is I hope it works out for you.

I had a new boiler installed Thursday and I now have hot water and heating

Nothing as bad as not having hot water or heating

it's more that it's an inconvenience and an eye sore, no damage done really. Glad you got boiler sorted, was a long hot bath first on the to do list then
