I’m actually pretty sure I’d be the same. I’m very tentative to meet anyone to close to me and my partner’s vanilla life.

It’s to do with compartmentalising you’re fab life and day to day life.

I have met a guy that lives 500m from me (as the crow flies) but he always messges me before, if he wants to come round.

Did have a guy try and 'track me down once' as I was walking home as I mentioned where I was and he was local. Luckily he missed me (but was in his car looking)!!

From a female point of view I’ve been very reluctant to meet a guy I’ve been chatting to for yrs for obvious close distance reasons. Since being back on here for a few months and chatting again I’ve finally agreed to a social with him tomorrow night so nervous hope he doesn’t stand me up and actually meets me

After speaking in the aft all seemed good but when the time came not a word and still to this day no apologies no explanation as to the silent treatment so my priorities have changed I think I have got off lucky that the local meet didn’t happen. Not going to consider a local meet in future!!

Personally I love the idea of a local meet. L is less keen but we have done them.

Sadly they are fairly rare as within 20 miles of us there aren't actually that many people. So the number who are swingers are vanishingly rare.

We're hoping to corrupt a friend of ours into becoming our local FWB in the next few weeks though, so that would be good
