Perfect...now can someone come and stop my idiot of a dog barging in and wanting to eat the bubbles "
That would kill the moment for sure! |

Mine randomly comes flying in through the door and does a massive leap at me, probably half the baths I have.
The idiot thing hates water and yet doesn't learn. I'm getting good at stopping her just before the leap now though. |

"Salts and Ted talk
Ted
Who’s Ted?"
I'm not sure if you're being serious or not DC. If you are, TED talks are people talking about a particular area/subject of knowledge passionately. Sometimes utter crap, sometimes brilliantly. |

My old dog used to do that - cue panicking mastiff, and me trying to get out before her to block her passage to my bed
One day I'll have a dog with a brain |

Hot (but not too hot) water, scented bath oils, emollient and caring for the skin, some bubbles and a wet face cloth to cover my closed eyes and my face. No music, just leaning back and relax and let my mind wander. Then slowly washing my body, especially the naughty parts. Sometimes using toys for play, like penis pump or a water tight vibrator. Drying up and applying skin care after that, then sitting in from of my computer, with a towel on my lap and let a fan cool me down. Pure relaxation |

from Home Counties to Middle Earth |
Usually the dog has jumped in before it's finished filling, leaving grit from her paws in my lovely bubbles, and now there's a trail of wet doggie prints across my cream bedroom and landing carpets.
I get in, usually with a cuppa, my iPad primed to watch a film (which I never do) and my phone. Then the kids hassle me for things that could wait, and the dog whines til she's eaten my bubbles and got fed up of me rejecting her offers to join me. I top up the hot water and stay there (maybe 2-3 hours) til children and dog have gone to sleep and harmony rules.
Tonight however, I'm home alone. Blissful bath with candles (which I can't usually risk because of my enthusiastically energetic and long haired dog!)
Ahhhh.... |
