BBC2 announced that they have bought all 3 series and are showing 1 and 2 back to back on tv, I can only see series 1 is on iplayer as well, I can't view them on amazon anymore or find series 3
1 and 2 are still on sale on dvd though |

I'm probably a bit out of step here. True, it's based on historical fact and is well acted and produced, but I found it a bit uncomfortable. Selling daughters for sex, being forced into prostitution etc. just didn't seem that entertaining to me. |

just the way it was.. i feel its very historically accurate.. its just the sub working class versionof of arranged marriage.. scandalous yes but life was often diabolical in the 18th century |
