Thats what I feel like saying to the neighbours, Finished early for the day, came out back, with a coffee, the neighbours dog, shits out there backdoor, but it looks like they haven't cleaned it up for a while. Im now sitting with fly spray trying to disperse the flys. Otherwise they are decent neighbours. So how to approach the situation without it turning into some channel 5,neighbours at war situation   |

just tell them nicely your kitchen has flies in it and you saw a lot outside their door and would they kindly pick pooches poo up. It's the decent thing to do being a dog owner. We pick our dogs up each time they do one. |

Train the flies? But seriously... Just explain what's happening... They can either ignore you or do something about it... You won't know till you give them the opportunity. |

As for next doors smell, is using a hosepipe to wash the offending smells away from your side and possibly towards their door, from your own garden? |

Next time you're chatting just say nicely that the dog poo is attracting flies, would they mind picking it up. We usually approach neighbours if there's a problem they can get a bit uppity because people are used to nobody saying anything but I'd rather someone told me than gossiped to the other neighbours which is what happens in our street |

I had a neighbour who I am sure sat and waited for my dogs to have a shit so she could come round and complain I'd do it but not straight away just to annoy her thankfully she has gone and have a wonderful neighbour that loves my dogs now. |

This is awful - I have just been dog sitting and practically had the poo bag under his arse to catch it lol
Joking aside, I picked it up st8 away and a bucket of bleached water over the top.
If you have a conversational relationship already I would knock and say something. If not I think the poo bags over the fence is a bloody brilliant idea lol |

Our neighbours are like that. 3 dogs and shit everywhere, the heat makes the smell unreal. It cracks me up. They get in and out of the hottub and act like nothing is on the floor *boke* |
