Steak fried and basted in garlic butter and mushrooms done in the same pan tonight...what else can I have with it though? I'm struggling to decide!

I’d sauté some potatos in the same pan myself, along with some asparagus tips.

Then fresh shavings of Parmesan and a drizzle of extra virgin over the tips. And a cooked tomato, also done in the steak pan.

Deglaze that pan with a splash of red wine. I usually serve mine mid rare, with new-potato wedges and something green and crunchy on the side. In weather like this, a rocket and watercress salad with cherry tomatoes would go down nicely
