I keep hearing people rhyme some terrible lyrics or say the same things others have in the past. Even making up words.
It’s nothing on original old school hip hop. |

"Yep. Hard to talk about hard times when you’re now 25 years older and have a platinum diamond ring on each finger and have 12 houses all over the world!

There are still some people making down to earth rap. There’s still plenty of material to rap about, in just the same way as you’ll never run out of material to write any music about.
Love, war, struggles, happiness. Any element of human experience and emotion, existence, consciousness.
I’d argue it’s the other way around. The fans don’t listen to people who rap about real issues anymore because they prefer ‘lil fab lolly IX’ who’s got a big insta influencer presence and constantly posts fast cars, money and violence. |

Open your legs to the sensual sound
Let the beauty of the beat pump your mound
I can tell you're like a horny slut
Feel the bass, hump and grind
Just drop to your knees and
make your mouth get on down.. |

Plenty of good new stuff about but doesn't get the limelight. Revenge of the dreamers 3 by dreamville is a wicked album.
Everything's for sale by Boogie is also a good, meaningful album.
Personally I've been really into Freddie Gibbs too
Psychodrama by Dave, a UK rap album, also very deep, emotional album |

exactly, why english music is dead, latin spainish language is more popular, i cant stand english music, switched about 5 years ago, never listen to english anymore.
you should try alot of the songs, become over 1 billion views in a short time, something that english music rarely does, even english language singers try to remix a popular spanish language song to cash in, but rarely becomes a success when they do |

its all about drugs, gangs, posing with lots of cash, death threats in lyrics waving guns about and abusing everyone.
which is why a lot of them end up dead early.

"Biggie , nas , mobb deep , old jay z "
Old jay z so right. Also old Kanye. Biggie was the best though. It was like he was telling you a story, it was like watching a movie listening to him, now it's just mumbling.
Though I'm pretty sure every older generation says the next generation is shit. |

Absolutely, don't think English swingers are their target audience tbh |
