Does anyone else think it’s important to have a similar sense of humour to those you chat/meet with?

I think we can learn a lot by the things we mutually find amusing. I find myself seeing how many jokes I can fit into a message...

I think it's hugely important to have A sense of humour but for meet from here I don't think that there is time to discover that unless you are going to send each other questionnaires weekly or call each other daily.

Any relationship that grows will do so because the humour is similar as will be the needs and drives.

If I got a first message peppered with'jokes' I find it as a signal of someone I should avoid. I'd see it as evasive bolstering and veiling.

A sense of humour is really important to me - I have a really dark sense of humour, and if people don't get it they tend to think I'm a bit weird and twisted.

North East Scotland, mostly

Definitely important to us - sex should be fun, so if we can't laugh together, that's as far as it's going to go. I don't mean I need a comedy routine - just that we should be on the same wavelength

A sense of humour, social skills and the ability to be a good conversationalist goes a long way on the scene.

Humour is important.

If someone doesn't get my humour then it's not going to make for a smooth conversation either on here or in RL.

Doesn't have to be a constant barrage of jokes or wittiscisms though.

And if you can make me crack a smile it will add to the attractiveness

We have a strong preference for people with a sense of humour, until the clothes come off!
