This. I have a list of the things I need to buy, but I invariably end up with other items as well, some are more random than others!

Only at Christmas or if I have an important dinner or something like that, apart from that I know the supermarket off by heart and get the same most weeks. I only live a stone throw away from the supermarket so if I do forget something it's not the end of the world to walk across and get it. |

I love a list...
got to have a list...
even if I write a list and leave it in my handbag I get great comfort from knowing that I have a list should I need it.

I often take a list to the real shops but I rarely go. We have a running list on the coffee table for the Internet grocery shop too. Mind you I nipped into Marks for some grapes and came out with a large carrier bag full of fruit so a list might ensure I got what I needed but wouldn't stop me getting what I didn't need |

Peaches and nectarines, ripe and ready, two packs £4. Skin them, cut in half, take the stones out, bake for ten mins, serve with Greek yogurt sprinkled with flaked almonds. Delicious! |
