Tis sunny outside, the warmth of the day slowly encroaching upon the beadlets of dew laid as a carpet upon the grass. Not a sound from the stillness of the trees except the sweetness of the birds. In my hand a coffee, steaming but not too hot as to have overcooked the granules..oh for that smell of coffee in a morning. In the background Nina Simone places her spell upon my heart and soul, making me sway to the smoothness of her sound....the only thought flitting about my head is shall my dance be barefooted or shall I reach for the shoes?

Have a wonderful day people xx

Tis truly the perfect existence...one day I d love to be in the French quarter of New Orleans, stood on the balcony towel around my waist, coffee in hand, listening to nina or Etta in the background as the place wakes up. Wander down to a bar later and sit with a scotch in hand listening to Frank Sinatras one more for my baby and one more for the road. A life of music and dance..what more can one want or need from life? Pure unadulterated bliss.
