"... right now.

My dog snoring then barking at the seagulls which wakes up all the other dogs and they start telling at each other.

I live on the top floor of block of flats (only 3 storeys high) that overlooks a courtyard, there's another 2 blocks surrounding it. Most days the "Youth Club" as I like to call them, are out there drinking, smoking and generally trying to make as much noise as possible and murder each other after 12 hours of getting pissed

I think they must have all thought it was Sunday and gone to Church cos you could hear a pin drop out there today

Wellingborough

I've been chain sawing my way across the garden today (grown out hedges and trees that haven't been cut back in the past) so my auditory input has been attenuated by wearing very effective ear protection*.

*and chain saw cut rated jacket and trousers, cut resistant gloves, a helmet and a visor. Pretty hot to work in but worthwhile not to ruin the day with a trip in an ambulance and some major surgery.

It's quite nice actually when my daughter isn't shouting her head off and ruining it!

SE London

Suburbia in the evening, dinner had been finished and the BBQ are burning down.

The housewives are busy in the kitchen while the dads are opening a can of beer or clinking their wine glasses

Kids stopped playing outside and went to bed.

My neighbour's children just left and the yapping of their small dog finally stopped (or is going to bother someone else).

This would be a good time to have sex with someone and entertain the neighbourhood
