What would you rather be ? As a sales woman selling heavy plant and machinery to building companys i smash my targets and have been top sales person for the past 4 years . My last job was working for a supermarket chain most of my dealings were with high powered woman and i rarely achieved my sales figures. |

That's rather interesting, why such a difference do you think, as you seem to be good at sales, do you think with doing sales in different industries make a difference? |

I watched an interview a year or two ago that touched upon this, especially when in business, made some very interesting points regarding men and women working together regarding flirting, sexualisation and other things. |

Depends on their outlook really, it can be a curse. Trying to flirt with someone when your product has gone wrong or they want a better price or service can do down pretty badly..... .....I think in the modern world sex has departed from business and that's not a bad thing. Most who use their sex to sell will only have great sales figures and will be making someone else a lot of money, they rarely make it far up the ladder these days because they can be a real liability in business.....  "
But in fairness im not using my sex to sell i naturally have a bubbly fun personality, i dont sell them anything they dont want or need and our company doesnt chase leads all my customers have made appointments and there is no cold calling. Point is companys will ask specifically to do buissnes with me when they call. Men dont have the same selling power with woman so is it men being gullible?? |
