I was reading article the other day about some countries abandoning teaching handwriting or specifically cursive in primary schools, because of how world/ways we communicate are changing... Made me sad..so my wish would be be to appreciate the fine art of expressing oneself via written word and admiring pics of your hands and pieces of writing. Whether it's your life motto a favourite quote, a joke... pick whatever you fancy

"I'm right handed, but due to slight brain damage at birth due to lack of oxygen, my right side had been affected, so I used my Left hand for writing etc, this apparently is why I wrote like this. I had to get extra tuition for a while. Not sure about drawings, think they were okay... | |||

Oh please give it a go "Oh I'm in for sure....never a doubt there. Totally agree that its a dying artform....with texting and txtspk....some people's spelling and punctuation is shocking. There used to be a time when every year a Christmas card list was a task I looked forward to, sadly with tech and costs of mail, this is also a dying act, and in single digits as a result. I will be only too happy to participate, and will also upload a sample of writing from my aunt, who (in my humble opinion) is from the generation where writing as a an art. Have seen some impressive samples uploaded, yours and bustybelle for example. Definitely one of the best articles created on forums. Have a fabulous weekend. | |||

Totally agree that its a dying artform....with texting and txtspk....some people's spelling and punctuation is shocking.
There used to be a time when every year a Christmas card list was a task I looked forward to, sadly with tech and costs of mail, this is also a dying act, and in single digits as a result.
I will be only too happy to participate, and will also upload a sample of writing from my aunt, who (in my humble opinion) is from the generation where writing as a an art.
Have seen some impressive samples uploaded, yours and bustybelle for example.
Definitely one of the best articles created on forums.
