I'm running around a restaurant and hot kitchen very soon.
You know what's amazeballs about it? Because of one person complaining 2 years ago about staff "standing round drinking instead of tending to the customers" we aren't allowed to drink in areas where the public can see us.
Now the "staff standing around drinking" was on a very hot busy day and the standing around bit was a staff member taking a swig of water whilst printing a bill for a differnt table. 2 birds one stone.
Before people complain about dumb shit like that purely because they think they'll get a free voucher or something they really should think of the possible consequences.
I'll maybe have the chance for one or two mouthfuls of water during my 7 hour shift. At least I won't be complaining of needing a wee I suppose |

Restaurant staff are human and need hydration? Scandalous 
I've had staff apologise to me when I've "caught" them drinking water before. I've told them not to be ridiculous and to drink the water. |
