From personal experience a full naked body pic attracts more attention from people than your face even if their profile description says otherwise.
Ultimately is what you can do and how well you can hold a conversation that people look for more.

Use the timer on your phone camera and take classy pics. Chest and arms, nice over the shoulder bum shot. Maybe open shirt, black and white always looks classy 
No remotes or measuring type devices at all, no toilet seats in shot. No dirty bedding  |

Prop your phone up somewhere, check the background and try and keep it as clear as possible.
Experiment with taking pics from floor level, coffee table type level etc...
Set the timer on your phone (I use the 3 sec one, and then take lots of different pics)
You will learn what works and what doesn’t.

Black and white are popular. So include one or more of these. Play with light..
Experiment with angles as Hippy suggested above. Find those which work for you
Use accessories to change focus/spark a conversation
Take part in photo challenges and seek inspiration from others profiles.

Imagine you're selling a car or a house, and you're taking the pics. Would you give the car a wash before hand, would you tidy the mess in the house?
Of course you would. So do the same when you're taking your own pics. Don't just snap yourself in an egg stained t-shirt watching the TV.
Also do some research, google sexy man photos, look at the poses and the lightning, do they give you any ideas about what you could do yourself? |
