The colony of beavers that live on the River Otter in Devon are allowed to stay, what’s your view on this do you think should be allowed to stay or do you think that nature’s engineers should build dams elsewhere, bearing in mind one of the beavers is called Sigourney ?!

Never mind about the supposed ' damage' the beavers do

Have you seen the state of the world atm. It wasnt the animals that fucked it up

The right place

Beavers provide huge environmental benefits, the dams help manage flood risk is vulnerable catchments and it’s been shown that they create new wetland/woodland Habitats that provide ecosystems for many diverse species.

They were reintroduced to places in Germany a few years ago with great results.
